SYNERGETIC STATISTICS IN THE INTERDISCIPLINARY STUDIES IN THE SPHERE OF HUMANITIES

Abstract

The paper presents a theoretical and methodological substantiation of non-traditional tools applied for defining the frequency characteristics and quantitative data of statistical reliability of the results obtained from various interdisciplinary studies in the humanities. It advances the idea of considering any socio-cultural and socio-economic changes as a result of deep cognitive-and-synergetic processes taking place in the psychic sphere of each individual and in mentality of the members of certain communities throughout the whole period of the mankind self-development. The author outlines the logic of performing the synergetic statistical estimation as well as exemplifies the procedure of defining the nature of the energy sources and their functions in the overall picture of supervenience of the analyzed systems. It is emphasized that within the framework of such a picture there arises the necessity to determine the significance of the first three factors from their larger combination, performing the role of complex causes that can lead to the corresponding complex of consequences or results of the system’s self-development. In such a way the paper outlines the prospects of employing the suggested approach as a methodological tool in prognosticating the results of different systems’ self-development, such as foreseeing the adequate patterns in the processes of educational systems’ self-development, the consequences of ethnic groups’ migration or the intrastate shift of social groups, the results of the impact of technological progress on real people’s needs for education, the emergence of interstate, inter-religious or ethnic conflicts of various degrees of tension in various regions of the planet, etc. The presented paper demonstrates the possibility of applying a synergetic statistical approach to solving difficult fundamental problems in the fields of linguistics, literary criticism, psychology, pedagogy, cultural studies, history, political science, geopolitics, and economics.
